Sssshh

I have three boys ages 13, 9 and 2.  Needless to say, because my hubby is away on business, I let my 2 yr old sleep with me so I don't get a ton of sleep, lol.  I made a deal with my older kids that on the weekends they can play video games as long as they don't wake the baby up (thus waking me up)... I have never heard two boys play games so quietly, lol. And I get to sleep in a little! - Angelique N.

Double Fisting

Last night I rocked my baby boy to sleep. With a glass of wine in the other hand! - Ashley Z.

Tails

We got a new english bulldog pup today, the boys noticed the stub for the tail and said "Ewww mommy, puppy went poo poo!!" - Vicky C.

It's Work People!

Wish people would understand that just because I'm home all day watching my son doesn't meant the house is going to always be spic and span. I'm working! - Christy S.

Busy

Feels like super-mom if I have put dishes away, started laundry, fed both kids, and blogged all by 930am! - Michelle P.

Sheets

forget going to the gym.. I work up a serious sweat changing crib sheets! - Amy A.

Words

I really need to watch what I say around my toddler. Grandma was visiting yesterday and Emelia decided to act up. After repramanding her and threatening time-outs I guess she sensed my frustration because she promptly turns to grandma and very matter-of-factly states "Mommy needs a drink" oh boy! - Ashley Z.

Caught

Each preschool day, Isaac brings home at least one color page &/or art project. Every couple weeks I go through & toss the less to least impressive. Yesterday, I was caught. Whoops! Isaac came up to me, "Mommy!  Why did you throw away my pages?!"  "I'm sorry, bubs, you just have SO many!" Quietly, he replies, "But Mommy, it breaks me.  You hurt my feelings." Trying not to giggle, "I broke your heart?" "Ya, Mommy. It's not nice. You have to say you're sorry."  Nothing like getting guilt tripped AND reprimanded by a 4yo. - Christi B.

Tricks

My 6 month old is obsessed with our dog (and our dog is obsessed with flashlights)... So to keep my baby still while clipping his nails I put a flashlight beside us and my dog came running and my baby stared at the dog in amazement and didn't even notice me clipping his nails!!...Whatever works!!.. :) - Bethany E.

Shower-less

I can't remember when I showered last.  It's Thursday morning.  I *think* it was late Monday night.  Tuesday morning?  Sure, I may have had ten min. here & there to squeeze one in, but I dreaded the thought of trying to keep Connor (9mo) entertained out of my lady drawer while I finished getting ready! - Christi B.

Belly Ache

I just sent my son to school and he was complaining of his belly hurting.  Here's to hoping he doesn't throw up on the bus!!!  Amy J.

Dr. Mom

I had to get a stool sample from my daughter so I lined the toilet with a plastic bag and had her poop in it!  Amy J.

Hours Away

I confess I can't be a SAHM. I need those hours away from my little man... I love him a lot, he's my everything, but a whole day by myself with him is too much for me to take. - Rayan B.

Not Fair

I am so jealous of mommies who get 8 hours of un-interrepted sleep everyday. I would do ANYTHING to get that. - Rayan B.

Moody

I'm not so sure BC pills are the thing for me anymore. I found myself WAY moodier this month than when I was pregnant the last 2 years in a row! Pray for my sweet husband. - Michelle P.

Tic Tac Toe

This week I found myself wearing the same shirt THREE days in a row...not because it wasn't dirty (I'm sure it had crusted food, boogers, etc on it) but because I just didn't want to add to the constantly growing pile of laundry in my closet... how pathetic is that? :) - Katy C.

Stay Little

The other day I heard the song - 'Never Grow Up' (by:Taylor Swift) and the flood gates opened. It's ironic how I push my kids to become more independent and do things on their own but at the same time I just want them to be little forever. - Michelle P.
